What we collect
We keep things minimal. There is no account here: no sign-up, no email address and no profile, and there is nowhere in Prismdrift to type anything, so you could not send us a personal detail even if you wanted to.
What your browser sends us
When a run finishes, the app sends that run to /api/run. It is a full record of the run itself and not a summary: the date, whether it was the daily drift or a free one, the seed, the distance, the number of gates, your score, how long it took, and the traced shape of your drift — the line you flew and the threads you cut, as plain numbers. It carries no name, no email, no account, no session and no identifier for you.
We keep it. The run is stored on our side under a random, opaque id so the share card behind that link can be redrawn exactly as you saw it. If the run was the daily drift, it also does two more things: your score falls into one bucket of that day’s distribution, which is where the percentile we show you comes from, and the run is added to that day’s public gallery — so the shape of a daily drift may be seen by other people on the site, as an anonymous PRISM with nothing attached to it. A free drift is neither counted nor shown to anyone.
If the backend is unavailable, none of this happens: the run stays in your browser, you get the offline card, and no percentile is shown rather than a made-up one.
Advertising & cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices. We ask for your consent before loading ad cookies.
